Speaking for tho Munitions Department Mr. Kellaway, in the House of Commons, outlined tho progress made in tho production of munitions. The increase in tho first two montbs of 1018, he said, as compared with last year was: Light guns, 30 per cent; medium guns, 57 por cent.; heavy guns„ 38 pop cent.; machine guns, 3G "per cent.; sholls, 83 per cent.; tanks, 39 pov cent.; aeroplanos, 22.') per cent. Over 100,000 men wero released for the Army in 1917. The Army was as well equipped today as when the German offensive began.
