Melbourne, April 13At the conclusion of the first sitting of the Recruiting Conference the. Direc-tor-General of llecruiting, who is prosiding, announced that no report of f he proceedings would be given until the conferonco closed-Press Assn. (Rcc. April 14, 5.25 p.m.)
Melbourne, April 14. The Governor-General's Recruiting Conference sat through Saturday, .and will resume on Monday. It is j Olhcially announced that the discussion dealt with the economic conditions, the administration of the AVur Precautions Act and Regulations, and the Press censorship. The Governor-General, in an opening address, earnestly stressed the necessuy of all parties working m unity in view of tlw seriousness of the war situation.Pres3 A6sn.
