AMOUNT STEADILY RISING.
' "Rosie," attended by 'a'number of hard-working commercial travellers, known far and wide for their patriotism, her work splendidly for the Liberty Loan.., After.a brjcf jaunt round the' city -the ■ tank was..moored alongside the ißank- of New.Zealand in Customhouse Quay-yesterday, afternoon, and there the requirements of those who wish t.o purchase War Loan Certificates were attended to with' courtesy and dispatch. ■ With, a view to business 'after- dark, "Rosie"...was. bejewelled with- coloured electric lights, and after-the-daylight-faded she made a gallant- show,,brillia ritjy- illuminating her "pest of honour." . The amount of War Loan Certificates sold yesterday totalled £5000. . To date-the-travellers have dealt, with bonds- and - inscribed stock totalling over £70,000, and the -travellers declare that they will reach -sis figures before business closes down, on Monday night. "Rosie" will continue her mission to-day and on Monday. The Trentham Camp Brass Band will accompany "Rosie" qn her perambulations .to-day.
