LIBERTY WAR LOAN
The commercial' travellers, with the tank "Rosie," did excellent work yesterday; In addition to the' sale of about £3000 worth of certificates, a number of applications for War Bonds was received. The War Loan is now ii household word. Tlie tank, manned by its band of willing workers, continues to-day at various places in tlie city, as advertised, and all those who wish to help in the matter of providing the wherewithal to carry on are requested to bring their money and purohase War Certificates. For the convenience of those who cannot attend during the day the tank will be operating frV the Bank of Now Zealand corner from sto 9 p.m. Meanwhile the applications for larger amounts are being dealt with ly officials nt the I Commercial Travellers' Club's special office, where subscriptions approximating £60,000 have been dealt with:
