STAGE EMPLOYEES' DISPUTE
The Conciliation Council sat until nearly midnight last night, under the presidency of the Commissioner (Mr. W. Nowton), in connection with the application for a new award recently filed by the Wellington Stage Employees' Union. The assessors for the employers were: Messrs. Bert Boyle, Walter Fuller, and Hugh D.- Wilson! with Mr. W. A. Grenfell as agent. The union was represented by Messrs. Henry E. Butler (Auckland), John Currje (Cliristcluirch), and Fred. Ward (Dmiedin), with Mr. K O. Smith (Auckland) as agent. , " •• The parlies had not reached an agreement when they rose, and they will meet again this morning.
