An official report from Peking states that Japan proposes to send 200,000 troops to China, to co-operate with a. similar Chinese force officered by Japanese for tho purposo of restoring order in China and protesting the horders. Japan submits a new series of. demands to China, including the complete control of tho finances, and demanding that 50 per cent, of the ammunition purchases shall bo made from Japan; and that the operation of iron mines and dockyards bo placed under Japanese control in recognition of special Japaneso in Mongolia as well as in Manchuria.—Aus.i\'.Z.
