Prime bullocks, £18 to £19 155.; extra prime, £22 12s, £d.; medium, £15 sa. to £17 10s.; light, £12 tto £14; prime cows and htil'ors, £14 to £15; medium, £10 10s. to £12 55.; others, £9 to £10 6s. The number of sheep penned was 3400. At the commencement of ihe oale. \ slues were slightly easier, and they clt.cbned as the auction progressed. Tho bulk of the entry consisted of ewes and nieriura wethers, with a fair propi.t.on of well-finished sheop. Freezing buyers were not operating as keenly as o'f late. Prime wethers, 395. to 435. 6d.; a few extra to 505.; medium, 365. to SSs.; light unfinished, 30s. to 345.; prime ewes, 345. to 395.; extra heavy, 41s. 6d. to 435. 9d.; medium to good, 30s. Id. to 335. 6d.; others, 245. to 275. 6d. The lambs penned numbered 982, and they met with a good sale at late rates. Best, 275. to 325.; extra prime, to 345. 9d.; medium, unfinished, 20s. to 245.
