Br Teleeraph.—Press Association. Felldlng, April 10. At the annual sale of Mr. E. E. Short's Hereford stud purebreds today the highest price was 250gns., brought by two bulls, namely, Champion Fifty-first, the purchaser being Mr. J. J. Dagg, of Mastertoh, and Champion Forty-four, purchased by Messrs. R. and G. Smith, Kaipnra. Other purchasers were: Mr. W. M'Kay, Masterton, ono at 175gns.; Mr. Graham, Gishorne, one at 150gns. All parts of New Zealand were represented and the hulls were well distributed. The highest priced cow brought 80gns., which was given for Rosaline Fortyfour, by Mr. Jefferson, of Wairoa.'
