Evidence was given to the effect that it was difficult to obtain a suitablo driver for tho Sisters, ana that Wilson continued in tho positron partly oat of philanthropic desire, and could easily have secured more remunerative employment. There wore 100 children in tho Home of Compassion, Island Bay, and at the Sisters' Home in Buckio Street there wero 36 incurablo patients and 23 children'. , Decision was reserved sine dio in the cases _jf the following prison warders, for whom tho Inspector of Prisons appealed :-W. J. M'Curdy, Waikcria Reformatory, Te Awarautu, and Samuel D. Carson, Auckland. An appeal for John D. Martin, Mental. Hospital attendant, Karitanc, was adjourned sine die. '■ " Matthew F.
