SPECIAL SUNDAY CONCERT
AT GRAND OPERA HOUSE. t The workers "behind the scenes" of the various locai theatres do not often cohlo beforo tho public, although they have ever been ready to give their services freely to tho many patriotic and charitable entertainments organised. To no small degree is the success of theso entertainments due to the little army of work-ersl*',-ho aro unseen. The Stage Employees' Association will make their first public appeal on Sunday night neit, when at tho Grand Opera House an'exeelient vocal and instrumental concert will be given. Messrs. J 0. Williamson, Ltd., have granted permission for the principals and chorus of the Comic Opera Company now in Wellington to appear, and these artists havo responded willingly. Assisted by several popular vocalists and an excellent orchestra-, a fine programme of musical items is promised. The admission will bo by Bilver coin, and aB the whole proceeds are to go to the Sickncss Tund of tho association
