Property department (tonrinsc) : First travelling property man, £8 (£4 10s.); second, £6 10s. (£3 los.); third and others travelling, £5 10s. (£3 Ms.). Lighting department: Electrical wiremen, 2s. 6d. per hour (Is. 41d.); switchboard attendant jn charge, 11s. fid. per performance (75.); man in charge of gas engine or motor, IDs. Gd. per performance. Touring electrician : First, £7 (£4 10s.); second, £6 (£3 los.): third, £5 (£3 155.). Companies not actually on tour. — First mechanists, pormanent, £7; casual, £1 10s. per day; second mechanist, £o 10s.; property men. first, £7; second, £5 10s.; casual, £1 10s. per day; electrical hands, permanent, £7; casual, £1 10s.; wardrobe masters (permanent), £5 10s.: wardrobe mistresses (permanent), £4 10s. For night hands increases ranging from 2s. to 3s. for each performance are asked. Another clause demands double rates for matinees given on statutory holidays. The rates for casual lahour at rehearsals are suggested as follow:—8 o.m. to 6,p.m., not less/than 2s. per hour: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., not less than 2s. 6d.: 11.30 p.m. to 7 a.m., not less than 3s. 6d.
