Heap., at the farm, Kimberly lioad, Levin. There was a, large attendance of buyers, competition was brisk, and the Tesults proved highly satisfactory to the vendors. On account outside vendors :-Spring-calving cows, £7 10s. to £9; store cows, £5 to £6 is.; springcart, £13 7s. 6d.; dogcart, £15 12s. 6d. Messre. Wright, Btephenson, and Co., Ltd., report hvaing held a highly successful horse sale in the Jtartinborough yards on Saturday, when they offered about 30 horses on account of Messrs. E. and V. ■Riddiford, and 25 Shetland ponies on account of Mr. W. Harris. There was a largo attendance oi buyers, and the whole yarding was sold , under the hammer. Most of the horses were unbroken halfdraughts and hacks, and fetched most satisfactory prices. Unbroken halfdraughts realised from £9 to £14 10s., whilst unbroken hacks made from £4 to £10 10s.; horses, broken to saddle, were sold at £6 55., £7, £9. £9 10s.; £10 10s., £11, and £12 55., most of them being aged; light harness horses, to £15 ss. The ponies elicited keen competition, and at the end of the sale the demand remained unsatisfied. The 25 ponies were all unbroken, tho ages ranginit from 1J to 3 years; an average price of over £13 was obtained, the top prices being £1», £19, £25, and £30, and the lowest £9.
