SAWMILLER DROWNED
i By Telegraph—Press Association. Cisborne, April 5. The police were advised to-night that Frederick Charles Dette was drowned about 7 o'clock while crossing the river near Whatatutu on horseback. _De- ■' ceased was 46 years .of- age, and it is understood that he was a married man with no children. ' Ho was a carpenter and- sawmiller, and was well known in the district. The body has been recovered.
