J ■■ The same buyer seemed Susan, : a two-year-old heifer, at 215 guineas. j Prices for other cows ranged from 45 \ , guineas to 140 guineas. With a few : exceptions, the animale were purchasi ed by Hawke's Bay, Wairarapa, and i; Gisbome breeders. The calves realis- : ed 15 guineas to 100 guineas, the lat- ': ter prioe being paid by Mr. Crewel, of ■■ Hawke's Bay. The total realised was ;,- £7794.
