NEW ZEALAND'S STAUNCHNESS
4 • MESSAGE FROM IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT. The Prime Minister (Right; Hon. W. F. Massey) has received the following cablegram from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, through the Govcr-nor-Genoral:— ' . "With reference to your telegram or March 30, His Majesty's Government bavo received with the greatest satisfaction New Zealand's assurances or support in the present crisis. ' "The staunchness of the Dominion in the common cause- and the gallantry of her soldiers has already been abundcntly proved, but we welcome most cordially this fresh evidence of her determination."
