e OPENING RALLY NEXT WEEK. ' The big opening rally in connection with the Bed Jersey appeal for funds to help tho good work the Salvation Army is doing for the soldiers on all the war fronts is to be held. at the Town Hall on Monday evening. Speeches will be delivered by the Prima Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, and other well-known citizens, also by Commissioner Plodder. Five Wellington bands will be in attendance, and some attractive musical items will be given during I the evening. The work the Army hae done and is still doing for the soldiers is well known and all interested in the welfare of tho men at the front are specially invited to attend Monday's meeting.
