It is an astonishing fact that the leaf produced in Haivks's Bay contains less nicotine than any other tobacco known. This is of the utmost importance with regard to ihs development of tlie N.Z. tobacco industry, because it is just these mild types of leaf tliat are eagerly sought after by manufacturers abroad, and fabulous prices are often paid for them. Hawko's Bay indeed will become famous for its unique tobacco, and Gold Pouch will be our national smoke. Unliko tho tobaccos from oversea, Gold Pouch does not bito the tongue, it smokes smooth and mellow, and leaves the mouth sweot and clean. Moreover Gold Pouch is all pure tobacco with a distinctive flavour, different from others and heathier than others. Now obtainable in two strengths, Dark and Aromatic.. Cigarette smokers should try Three Diamonds tobacco, another N.Z.grown type, and a capital smoke—better than any of the imported yellow brands.
