Self Alliance, who is also at tho bottom of tho handicap, showed promising form at 'tho Rnnei'likei Meeting. The Marigaone Stakes, six furlongs, has drawn a high-class Hold, and appears to be the most open event on tho card. Cyresian, from tho Yaldhurst stables, was runner-up to Killowon at Trentham, and Lionskm and Scornful have both won minor events. The small field in tho Sockburn Handicap, one mile and -a quarter, will suit Masoot, and sho should provo a very formidublo opponent for Ladoguer and Alino.
