Present indications aro for high easterly windfl, northwards of New Plymouth and Napier, and strong and variable winds with northnrlies predominating elsewhere. Unsettled and cloudy weather probable with rain following generally. Conditions are threatening to tho northwards and boisterous weather in likely in the northernmost districts. Barometer falling. Fair weather has ruled, but cloudy and liiuy skies havo become moro general toduy, and showers have been reported in tho extremo north and Bouth.
