Tho return representative cricket match Wellington v. Auckland will be played on the Basin Reserve on.Easter Saturday) Monday and Tuesday, piny commencing each day at 11 a.m. When these- provinces met earlier in the season some of the Dominion's best known, cricketers participated, and a very interesting game resulted. The Wellington team for the forthcoming match has been strengthened by the. inclusion of the city's best slow bowler,.and it will again have the services of representatives from the Treutham Camp Club—this season's premiers—including J. N. Crawford. The match is Wing played for tho benefit .\ r the Eden Park' (Auckland) retention fund. It is hoped that tho Wellington public will gonerouslv respond to the special effort whicn "tho Wellington Cricket Association .is making to niako the gamo a financial' success.
REPRESENTATIVE TEAMS. Owing to an injury to his knee, J. A. Bruce will be. unable to play aguinsfc Auckland, and bis place will be taken by H. E. Burton. The Wellington team is now as follows:—W. S. Banks College and St. Patrick's College trains (tliird grade) "let at Kelburn, tho result being a very easy. victory for the former. Batting first, Banks College scored 203 (declared) for four wickets. Foster played a chanceless innings of 102 (retired)., displaying good cricket nl! round the -.vicket. Other scorers wore: Atkinson and Coinric (21). St. Patrick's Collie's response was a somewhat, feeble one, all being disposed of for 70. Costelloe (29) was highest scorer. Atkinson, five wickets, and Foster three wickets, did the howling for the victors.
