"MITCHELL" EFFICIENCY. The Mitchell Company was founded in 1834 and it had been manufacturing for 68 years when the first "Mitchell" Motorcar was built. They were engaged in producing all classes of vehicles, where competition was intense, profits very small, and success depended on absolute efficiency in all factory methods. They realised that the same conditions would apply in tho building of motor-cars, so they started 6ome fourteen years ago to prepare for Jonn W. Bate was then, as now, the leading Efficiency Engineer, so the factory decided he was the man they wanted. ' Mr. Bato insisted on one model plant, every machine and process being adopted to that one model. It is made in two sizes—the 7-passengor with 127i.n. wheel base, and the 5-passenger with 120 in. wheel base, and in each instance the standards are alike. The 100 per cent, overatrongth necessitated the use of costly steel, and this has only been made possible by factory efficiency. Tho "Bate" cantilever springs are recognised as tnc most comfortable in the world. No shock absorbers, snubbers or rebound straps are necessary. Tho public are invited to inspect tho latest 5 and 7-passenger models at the premises ot— INGLIS BROS. AND CO., LTD., Distributors, 24-26 Harris Street, Wellington.— Advt,
