BRITISH POSITIONS EXTENDED. (Rec. March 26, 7 p.m.) London, March 25. A Palestino official report says: "Wo have extended our positions on the left batik of the Jordan. One of our patrolling machines attacked five enemy aeroplanos and brought down three out of control."—Aus.-N.Z. Cable A«sn.Reuter. DARING RAIDS BY YEOMANRY. London, March 25. Mr. W. T. Masscy, writing from Palestine on Sunday, says: "On Friday dismounted Yeomanry made two daring raids on trenches near the Nablus road, and a strong position at Amuries was rushed whon the moon went down, and tho fleeing Turks were caught in a hot barrage. At another place tho Yeomanry crept forward nearly two miles, surprised the Turks in the trenches north'of Simiil, and inflicted severe losses. Our casualties were very slight."—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
