The death is announced of Sir John Anderson, K.C.8., Governor of Ceylon.—Reutor. ■ i [Sir John Anderson had heen Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Ceylon since 1916. Previously he had held tho position of Governor of the Straits Settlement and High Commissioner of the State of Bruuoi, and was Permanent Under-Secretary for the Colonies from 1911 to 1916.]
