WHEAT CONSUMPTION
MR. HOOVER FIXES A LIMIT. Washington, March 24. Mr. Hoover has limited wheat consumption to a pound and a half weekly, which equals a reduction of 50 per cent., thus saving 21 million bushels monthly. Restaurant meals have been limited to 20 ounces of food.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
