THE CAPTURED RAIDER
New York. March 23. The Navy Department announces that the. vessel seized in tho Pacific was a sixty-foot motor-boat, named Agassiz. She sailed from a West Mexican port, whero she was fitted out under_ circumstances which led the authorities to believe that sho might bo used as a raider. Rifles, pistols, and German flags were found on board.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
