A PERFECT DAY

A hot sun, tempered by tho lightest of breezes, made yesterday a glorious day, and the day was followed by a perfect evening. Present indications are for freshening northerly to westerly winds, squally at times in and southward of Cook Strait. Mild and hazy conditions arc expected, with increasing cloudiness, rain following on tbo West Coast and southern districts. The barometer, is falling everywhere.
