The Melbourne Cup winner Westcourt won the Bawßori Stakes at Roschill a week ago last Saturday. The son of Bright Steel was the publio fancy for the Sydney Cup when the last mail left. Dame Acre, is, bay mare by Linacro—Damera, who won at\tho same meeting, wa6 also the popular fancy for tho Doncaster Handicap. Both the horses are owned by Mr. D. V. Seatou.
