In the Magistrate's Court at Masterton on Thursday, a man named Michael Iviedler was fined £5 and costs for failing to register under the Registration of Aliens Act. £5. Mr. H. A. Matthews is the donor of £800 towards several war funds, viz., £150 to Y.M.C.A., £100 to Church Army, and £50 to Salvation Army. Much satisfaction is expressed by Second Division League supporters h,y reason of the executive having been asked to appoint a representative to fill a vacancy on the Soldiers' Financial Assistance Board, and good should result from the co-operation thus established.
