HOUSp LIGHTING. Suburban and country have for many years 'suffered' from all of the inconveniences inseparable from the' use of kerosene lamps or acetylene gas. Just at present carbide is almost unprocurable, and the small supplies available are being sold at exorbitant prices. This shortage of curbido has been to maiiy people a blessing in disguise as it has decided them to dispense with their expensive and dangerous acetylene gas plants and have "Wizard" Lighting Systems installed instead. The "Wizard" Light is ideal for country homes and stores; it is cheap to install and cheap to use. The lamps are patented and are in every way superior to any other hollow wire lamps oil the market. A few people who had not heard of the merits of tho ' Wizard Light have been persuaded to install lamps that are made on a principle long since discarded ill "Wizard" Lamps.. Iheso lamps require u torch dipped in metnjlated spirit to light Hiem, so that a householder on arriving home at night must first light a match and lino the methylated spirit: bottle, then a flaring torch is applied to the lamp lor about a minute before the lamp will lig'"light a "Wizard" Lamp an ordinary match is applied to the generator for a few seconds, a lever is turned, and the lamp is alight. The "Wizard generator is fitted with an automatic needle to keep the jet clean, while the generator on other lamps must be pricked with a needle, the same as a Primus Stove. "Wizard" Lamps are insect proof, winch means a great saving in mantles and globes in the summer. Country and suburban residents should write at once to Messrs.
