ANGRY DEMONSTRATION
AGAINST SINN FEINISM. (Rec. March 21, 10.20 p.m.)
Melbourne, March 20. There were exciting scenes at a public demonstration against Cardinal Mnnnix's Sinn Feinism and the display of disloyal emblems at the recent bt. Patrick's procession. Among tho crowd at the Town Hall the Sinn Fern colours caused free fights, and the fact that some remained seated during the playing of the National Anthem created an angry demonstrate The meeting resolved to urge the Federal Government to take action under the War Precautions Act. Subsequently a, rat W as paid to the Right Hon W. M. Hughes, Federal Prime Minister, who promised to give the matter immediate consideration.—Pross Assn.
