'• Oats are still scarce, and in view of the fact that' the Australian market has risen there is a prospect of further export from there being prohibited. TJie local market .-.eeins likely to keep firm. Offerings of oats are, however, expected to be somewhat larger when the thrashing of wheat is completed and southern crops come on. The potato market is firmer in view of the fact that the crop is not turning out too well so far as condition is concerned. Tho price offered row is £3 15s. at country stations. There is not a large amount of business doing. Tho oatEhcaf market is fairly firm.
