♦ FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT t P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications aro for heavy westerly gales, changing to south shortly. Expect, wild and stormy conditions, rain probable generally, snow on higher levels, and colder weather following. Barometer rising soon in tho south. Atmospheric pressure has continued to decrease, and the centre of a cyclone travelled along tho West Coast yesterday. Stormy weather has prevailed, and rain haß fallen in most partß of tho Dominion.'
