FEATHERSTON CAMP SPORTS
The sports which are being held at Tauhcrenikau Ructicourse to-morrow promiso to be an event to be remembered. There are over 2000 entries, and events (mounted, open, and comic) will be in full from 10 a.m. Artillery, mounted, machine-gun, and _ bayonet work will be seen in competition. The parents and friends of soldiers are invited, and should take this opportunity of seeing their soldier boys at work and play. The committee regret that they have been., unable ,to arrange special trains, and 'hope that as many as possible will avail themselves of the ordinary time-table trains. Refreshments will be provided on tho course by tho loca' Patriotic Society ladies ot a nominal charge. The admission is tree and the public will be well catered for in every way. A concert by first-class artists assisted by the soldiers will be held in the camp in the evening, at which the prizes will be distributed, and all those who can remain for the concert are cordially invited to do so.
