John Healy, Arch- ; bishop of Tuam, was born in County Siigo in 1841, arid was educated at .. Summer Hill College, Athlone, and Maynooth College. He was an exmember of the Board of Agriculture of ' Ireland, and a member of the Royiil Commission on University Education in Ireland in 1901. Among his publications were "Ireland's 'Ancient Schools and Scholars," "A Centenary Record of Maynooth College," and "Life of St. Patrick."! CANON SCOTT HOLLAND. (Rec. Henry Scott Holland had been Regius Professor of Divinity at Oxford and Canon of Christ Church since 1910. He was also editor of "The Commonwealth." He wrote many works on theological Gubjects.]
