—4 FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications aro for high and equally north-eaßt to Bouth-east winds, especially in tho far north. Expect dull and gloomy weather, foggy in parts. Hoavy rain is probably generally; rivers rising shortly in tho northern, east coast-and southern districts. Barometer falling smartly in the north, ■but rißing Bhortly in tho south. Changcablo and showery weather has boon experienced generally, with variablo winds over the weok-ends, and atmoßpherio' disturbances are in ovidenco both to northwards and southwards of tho Dominion, the disturbance in tho far north appearing now of a- cyclonic character.
