(Rec. March 17,-5.5 p.m.) ~ ( London, March 16. : The, steamer Rathmore, with 640 paseeners, collided with a naval vessel in the Irish Sea. ■ Thirty-six.,are missing. BOTH VESSELS TOWED TO PORT
NO FATALITIES REPORTED
(Rec. March' 17, 11.30 p.m.) London, March 16. Tho North-western Railway, Company ' :, states that there were no fatalities on the Rathmore. A telegram from Dublin states that possibly there were four casualties. The Rathmore was ■ carrying 660 soldiers ,'and 38 civilians, including, women and children. Shd collided withraniine-sweeper- in the darkness. , One boat was capsized, but the inmates were rescued. The soldiers and crew displayed the coolest behaviour.
