White clover ■is commanding high prices, best samples beina worth Is. 9tl. to Is. lOd. per lb., ■whilst samples containing more or less sorrel arc selling at Is. upwards. At Culverden sheep fair best two-tooth halfbred ewes made 425. iM. to 52s , the latter figure being a record for this class of owe. It was obtained by the late Walter Macfarlane's Kaiwara Estate. Six and cmhttnoth halfbredfl made '365. to 445.; four and five-year-olds, 295. 6cl. to 425. Cd.; two-tooth three-ouarterbred ewes, 375.' to 405., and four and six-tooth, 355. to 38s. 6d.
