A paragraph appeared in our special correspondent's report of the opening day of the Wairarapa Keeling stating that H. Young had been stood down by tho Judicial Committeo of tho Wairarapa Earing Club, on the receipt of information that tho Waruranui District Committee had withdrawn his license. This was hardly correct. Tho telegram reached tho club giving tho name of Ilarold Young, but as tho notice was informal the Wairarapa Club took 'no action. However, Young stood down for the remainder of the day on his own' initiative. Subsequently tho Wanganui Club was communicated with, and tho reply stated that it was not Harold Young that was referred to, but another horseman of the same name.
