MISSIONARY AND DAUGHTER IjILLED NORTHERN RAILWAYS DISORGANISED Townsville, March 15. During the cyclone the Rev. Mr. Kenny, superintendent of the Hull River Aboriginal Mission Station, and his daughter were killed, and his wifo seriously injured. The mission buildings were entirely destroyed. Tlrreo blacks, who were taking refuge beneath the building, were imprisoned, but were dug'out injured. '";.. SUGAR CROPS SERIOUSLY DAM-' AGED. Brisbane, March 15. It is estimated that the damage to the sugar crops at Innisfail amounts to. £450,000. Tho flood at Halifax, near the mouth of tho 'Lower Herbert River, was tho highest on record. A large quantity of sugar stored at Lucinda was damaged.—Press Assn.
STORM RAGED SEVENTEEN HOURS HOUSES COLLAPSED LIKE PACKS OP CARDS. (Rec.March 15, 10.10 p.m.). .. Brisbane, March 15.-, Tho cyclone at Innisfail raged for seventeen hours. Houses collapsed like packs of cards, causing most of the deaths. Three hundred destitute women and children are sheltering in the Innisfail Shire Hall—Press Assn.
