Present indications aro for moderate to strong easterly winds, backing to northerly, northwards of New Plymouth <ind Castlepoint. and northerliee prevailing and frcEhening elsewhere. Weather, warmer, but with increasing haze aud cloudiness and a change following shortly. Tho barometer has a falling tendency. Southerly to easterly breezes have ruled ■with fair to cloudy conditions generally but scattered showers have been reported .along the eaet coast of tho North Island Little change in atmospheric pressure has taken place.
