SURVIVORS FROM THE APARIMA
RET CRN TO AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—l'ress Association. Auckland, March 12. Survivors of the Aparima, sunk in the English Channel last Decembei, have returned to Auckland. The paity consists of eight officers, six seamen, and twelve cadets. The officers are.— W. B. Hirst, second engineer. Iv. A. Gunn, third engineer. H. H. Barr, fourth engineer. 11. S. Fleming, fifth engineer. J. J. M'Keegan, sixth engineer. H. M. Mays, seventh engineer. G. M. Cooper, third officer. A. F. Vipan, wireless operator. Cadets T. E. Bevan, J. Adams, \\ • Millward, N. )'-L Annandale, Vv. Scantlebury, E. Sutherland, A. Denholm, J. Every-Clayton, J. Murray, 1. 11. I)avis, AY. Shakespeare, D. Williams. . . Seamen—A. Johnston, boatswain; A. Dwyer, L. Mackimion, 'V. Fox, A. M'lntyre, E. Elder, A.B.'s. These are all tho Europeans saved except tho commander, Captain Gerald Doorley, out of 32 officers and men aud 30 cadets.
