RIFLE SHOOTING

KAItORI OLTJB. The first stage of tho Colonial Ammunition Company's Cup competition was fired on Saturday at ranges 300 and 500 yards. The cup is one which was won outright by the* ■ club on its third success at the New Zealand rifle meeting in 1912. It is now competed for annually among individual members. The best score on Saturday was put on by Riflemar G. Tinney. EiHemiin Chiug, who ; cannot compete for tho trophy as he is not an active member of the club, mado a good score of 91. Rifleman 11. 11. Cox, a son of Rifleman W. H. Cox, reappeared on the range on Saturday after a long absence with tho Expeditionary Forces.
