SCHOOL COMMITTEES' ASSOCIATION
The monthly meeting of the School Committees' Association was held in the Education Board buildings last evening, Mr. W. E. Fuller presiding. Delegates from fourteen schools were present. The question of allocation of capitation on a more equitable scale was discussed, and it was decided to write to the Education Board asking that this matter he given prompt attention. The association has made application to the Minister of Education for permission to elect a representative on the Technical School Board, and subject to this request being granted the president of the association (Mr. Fuller) was elected to the position. A letter was received from the Wanganui Education Board on the question of purchasing school requisites in bulk. This matter is engaging the close attention of tlie association at present, and it is expected that a scheme will be brought down at the noxt meeting. It was decided to publish en annual report, nnd forward copies to all the schools in the Wellington Education District.
