All sorts of gifts are being sent in to Mr. Charles M'lntyre, secretary of the Easter Egg surprise gift schemo t to be offered as prizes in the Soldiers' Memorial Hall scheme now before the public. Mr. Henry Sexton, of Wellington, lias forwarded two rare specimens of the smallest kind of paper money issued in tho world. One is a tiny littlo bill or note for ten cents (5d.) issued by the United States Government during tho Civil War, and the other is a square note about 2}in. each way for itn peso (one dollar), issued by La Provincia de Buenos Aires as far back as April 1, 1867. Curiously enough as far back as that the Argentine recognised that the sheep was a great natural asset, for the principal feature in tho central device is a heavily-wool-Icd sheep. Tho Argontino dollar is nominally worth four shillings. The currency is a paper one. ■
