In the sixth annual report, the committee of the JohnsonviUe Golf Club states that, including a balance of £14 17s. 2}d. brought forward from last year, the receipts for the year totalled £139 ss. Hid.; the expenditure for the season was £104 12s. Id.; and the treasurer has a balance in hand of £34 13s. 10Jd., of which £20 is due for rental. Considering the difficulties under which the club is working, and the constant depletion of members owing to war services, the committee consider that the club is to be congratulated on its position. Thanks to the interest shown by the caretaker (Mr. J. Cnthcnrt) the links were in excellent condition. The men's championship was won for the fourth time by Mr. JR. S. Kent, and he takes the Bartlet trophy. Miss Batham was the winner of the ladies' championship. The club is being well and worthily represented on active service by members, and all available are at present (or have been) on active service. The Ladies' Committee carried out many patriotic efforts with (?°od results to the various funds. For the Trench Comforts Fund over £28 was raised.
