SOLDIERS' SPORTS
A big sports meeting will be hold on* March 20, at Tauherenikuu ra>-course, by the Foatherston Military- - Gamp. Included •in the programme will he mounted events and open events, comprising athletics .and military items. A stirring event will'be the artillery alarm, when a battery will turn out at short notice, and engago. the enemy. Other features will be squad events, a machine-gunners', competition, and a display by bayonet instructors, 1 .all of whom are returned men. The public are cordially invited to be present, nnd it is honed to arrange special trains for the day.
