6 1 WEST COAST SWEPT BY TIDAL WAVE. By Telegraph—Prese Association. Auckland, March 7. Heavy rains fell in Fiji early in February. At Ba 19 inches fell in twentyfour hours. All tho cavelands were flooded. Sis Indians were drowned at Kadaou. A tidal wave swept the west coast. It was about 12ft. high. Considerable damage was done to houses. There was no loss of life.
