The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report that at their Levin yards on Tuesday they offered a fair entry of both sheep and cattle. Quotations:—Good condition m.s. two-tooths, 275.. 4d.; mixed age ewes, 20s. 9d.; aged ewes. 10s. Bd.; small two-tooths, 215.; small lambs, 95.; rams (potters), 305.; medium fat'cows, £10 12b. to £11 95.; weaner steers, 3s. 6(1.; weaner heifers, £2 12s. Messrs. AVrißliC, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report that at thr* sale on Tuesday they offered a small yarding o e sheep and cattle. There was a fair attendance, but bidding was dull. They quote:— M.s. woolly lambs, to 17s. 6d.; f.m. ramß, lgn.; weaner steers, 375.; store cowb, £4.
