ST. PATRICK'S DAY

(To the Editor.)

Sir,—l wonder whether it would be possible for tho Cricket Association to arrange a match between Trentham and combined Wellington clubs for the above holiday? It would be a popular fixture, and should produce a good "gate" for charitable (or for club purposes, since the Town Council charges such an exorbitant rent). If play began at 10 or 10.30 there is little doubt that a decision on the second innings could be reached before 6 p.m.— I am, etc., CRICKETER.
