HAMILTON SUPREME COURT
By Telegraph.—Press Association. . Hamilton, March 6. At the Supreme Court, Walter Gill, aged -19, charged with alleged carnal knowledge of a girl under 16, was found not guilty. Leslie Payne, a youth of 16, pleaded guilty to stealing a horse, cart, and. harness, valued at £20, which he sold for £3. He was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, His Honour stating that he did not wish to send the youth to gaol. Subsequently the youth was chatged with absconding from an industrial school, and was recommitted to Burnham.
